INDIVIDUATION AS ‘WILL’ OF CREATIVE SPIRIT WITHIN

Individuation depends on the interaction between ego-complex with its consciousness and faculty of reason and the unconscious part of the psyche, from where archetypal content comes into manifestation and effects and influences our psychology and psychic functioning. Archetypal content has its origin in a part of the psyche that is out of reach of our perception and reason. It has its origin in that in itself unknown mysterious realm, that we call the Unconscious, which we also may call Spirit. Hence we can call archetypes spiritual structural elements. By Ego-effort, these archetypes or ‘spiritual’ content can for part be assimilated by that integrated into the psyche. This makes that we can equate the individuation process with the spiritualization of biologically based human.
